Refund and Returns Policy
1. Our Commitment
At Bean in It, every bag of coffee is roasted to order — fresh, intentional, and made with care. Because of the perishable and made-to-order nature of our products, we have a focused return and refund policy designed to be fair to both you and us.
2. Eligibility for Returns
We accept return or refund requests under the following conditions:
- Damaged or defective product — If your order arrives damaged, leaking, or with a compromised seal
- Wrong item delivered — If you received a product different from what you ordered
- Missing items — If part of your order was not delivered
We are unable to accept returns for:
- Orders where the bag has been opened, as coffee is a consumable product
- Change of mind after placing an order
- Incorrect delivery address provided by the customer
- Delays caused by courier or logistics partners beyond our control
3. Freshness & Quality Guarantee
We stand behind the quality of our roasts. If you feel the coffee you received does not meet the standard we promise — in aroma, flavour, or freshness — please reach out to us within 7 days of delivery. We will review your concern honestly and work to make it right.
We may ask for a photo of the product and packaging to assess the issue.
4. How to Raise a Request
To initiate a return, replacement, or refund, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order:

Please include the following in your message:
- Your full name and registered email address
- Order number
- Description of the issue
- Clear photo(s) of the product and packaging (if damaged)
Our team will respond within 2 business days.
5. Refund Process
Once your request is reviewed and approved:
- Refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 7–10 business days
- Store credit may be offered as an alternative, at your preference
- Replacement orders will be dispatched within 2–3 business days of approval
Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.
6. Cancellations
Since our coffee is roasted to order, we begin processing your order quickly after it is placed.
- Cancellations requested within 12 hours of placing the order will be fully refunded
- Cancellations requested after 12 hours may not be possible if roasting has already begun
- Orders that have already been dispatched cannot be cancelled
To request a cancellation, contact us immediately at coffee@beaninit.com with your order number.
7. Bulk & Café Orders
For orders placed under our Cafes & Bulk Purchase programme, return and refund terms are governed by the agreement made at the time of purchase. Please contact us directly to discuss any concerns with bulk orders.
